Kevin is a native Californian and has played the drums for over 35 years.  He performs many genres of music such as rhythm and blues, funk, blue grass, Latin, Dixieland, jazz, classic rock, rockabilly, country, and now surf music!  Kevin was taught the art and business of entertainment by his father Ken Clarke and Uncle Dave Marty, of the San Francisco Red Garter Band.  They continue to play together at many venues throughout California.  Kevin's style of drumming is highly influence by many of the great drummers like Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, David Garabaldi, Chester Thompson, Slim Jim Phantom, and the late Gene Krupa & Buddy Rich.  Kevin’s main work horse is his candy apple red Pearl drum set.  Kevin is a huge Buddy Holly fan!

Lead guitar:  Danny Ellison

Danny is retired and now spends much of his time playing guitar. He started playing at the age of nine and spent his early years playing in various rock and roll bands around Bakersfield California and the coastal communities. During that time instrumental bands were the rage and surf music was tops. Over the years he has played a variety of genres of music but has now returned to his roots of instrumental surf. In addition to playing guitar, he is also an accomplished builder of solid body electric guitars of the Mosrite design as was used by one of his favorite instrumental bands The Ventures in the early 1960s
.

Bass guitar & Vocals:  Daren Ellison

Daren began playing the bass guitar nearly twenty years ago. He has played in various bands over the years from country and blues to folk and classic rock. He has been influenced by a wide array of musical styles ranging from Tommy Shannon and Timothy B. Schmidt to Victor Wooten and Stu Hamm. His current gear includes a hybrid “Ellison Custom” P-Bass with DiMarzio pick-ups, a Bad Ass II bridge, and Schaller tuners. His guitar has a Warmouth body and Stewart MacDonald neck. His amp is a restored Fender Bassman100 and a Dual Showman cabinet with two Peavey Black Widow 15” bass speakers. Although playing bass with a pick is commonplace in the instrumental surf rock genre, Daren plays his bass in the traditional two and three finger style method.
